Summer Autocross Series

Autocross at PERTH MOTORPLEX

The Perth Motorplex and the West Australian Car Club is proud to continue this exciting motorsport series. This year again is to be run on Wednesday evening’s in conjunction with the very popular Formula Tech Whoop Ass Wednesday street drags, the Autocross will be run on the Speedway circuit. Competitors will get the opportunity to throw it sideways around the Speedway weaving through chicanes and deviations.

Update: The Summer Autocross Series is back on again this year. The events are run on a Wednesday evening after work and run concurrently with the Whoop Ass Wednesday Drag Meeting at the Perth Motorplex. This is a great competition for anyone wanting to keep up the motorsport fix over the summer months, testing of cars, and for newcomers wanting to get in some practise.

Entries for Round 2 are open 5pm on Monday 21st Nov, and close 8pm Monday, 12th December.

Quick things to note:

You can use the entry form to enter Round 2, Round 3, Round 4 individually or together. If you are like me and prefer to fill out as little paperwork as possible then tick all the boxes at the top of the page for the rounds you are planning on competing in.

Note the address for entries is in the Supp Regs. Do NOT send them to the WA Car Club address.

You will need at LEAST a current Level 2S (or Level 2SJ) CAMS license. A Level 2NS is NOT sufficient.

Entries MUST be received by close of entries as per the Supp Regs. Please do not presume that payment alone constitutes an entry. To remove any doubt as entries are received by email you will receive notification of receipt. If you prefer living in the past and still ride a horse and cart :-) then when your entry has been received by snail mail, you will also be contacted to confirm it's safe arrival. If you have not heard from anyone by the Monday evening then presume that your entry has not been received and get in contact with Ross or David ASAP.

If you know of anyone who would like a prime spectator point and who is capable of waving a start flag then please contact David on 0419 894 555.

Finally, we had 34 competitors last round, don't run the risk of missing out this time; get your forms in early as entries are allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
